A : CareGivers should perform household services which will facilitate the client’s self care at home and are necessary to prevent or postpone institutionalization. A safe and healthy environment should be maintained for the client. These include but are not limited to linen changes and laundry, cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming main walking areas, keeping the kitchen floor and counters clean, and cleaning up dishes after meal preparation, we find general housekeeping should take no more the 20% of the service.
